It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Kay Lafrenz of Lowden, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Milota and Lorraine Milota (Krenz); her husband Otto "Harvey" Lafrenz; and her children, Jim and Bobbianne.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Kroemer (Terri) of Waukee, Randy Kroemer (Ana) of Titusville, Dawn Adney (David) of Lowden, Heather Owens of Maquoketa and Carolynne Lafrenz of Grand Island, Nebraska. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapman Funeral Home (311 5th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
