John Bails Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2023, at the age of 80, John Bails of Lowden, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ray and Barbara Irene Bails (Treichler); his siblings, Jim, Richard, William Bails, Sarah Menzer and Susan Voss; his siblings-in-law, Mollie Bails and Byron Knupp; his nieces, Karen Hildebrand and Marcia Krenz; and his grandson Antonio Gonzalez.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Richard Bails (Kris Norris) and Chris Bails (Tony Gonzalez); his grandchildren, Elena, Dylan and Carter; and his siblings, Robert Bails of Springville, Donald Bails (Diane) of Norway, Charles "Chuck" Bails (Laurie) of Mt. Vernon, Paul Bails (Pam) of Papilion, Mary Ellen Knupp of Vinton, Linda Nemecek of Greentown and Nancy Forrest (L. A.) of North Liberty. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
