He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bilsland and Margaret Bilsland Sr. (Vaughn); his stepfather Jack; his wives, Jadean and Rita; his brothers, Clarence, John, Richard and William Jr.; and his brother-in-law Claude.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Emerson (Janet) and Debbie Emerson; and his siblings, Terry Bilsland (Doris), Karen Hayes and Linda Goebel. He is also survived by seven stepchildren; many grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Papich-Kuba Funeral Service (1228 2nd St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401).
