He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Reher and Katherine Reher (Carstens); his wife Donna Mae Hudson; his son Todd; and his son-in-law Jay Holm.
He is survived by: his children, David S. Reher (Teresa) of LaPlace, LA and Jane Holm of Camanche, IA; and his sister JoAnn Knutsen of DeWitt, IA.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Judes Hospital.
