With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Guy Steven Weldon of Lovilia, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 47. He was predeceased by: his brother David Alan Weldon; his nephew Guy Martin; his stepfather Paul Woolsey; his grandparents, Guy, Myrna Weldon and Bill Burk; and his uncle Blake Burk.
He is survived by: his close friend Charity McCombs; his children, David Weldon, Danni Binns and Kaylee Weldon; his parents, Steven Weldon (Lisa) and Kathy Woolsey; his brothers, Kaleb Marshall, Kevin Weldon (Madison), Kyle Weldon and Alan James Weldon; his stepbrother Nick Woolsey; his grandmother Lois Burk; his aunts and uncles, Tom, Tiffany Weldon, Charles and Tracy Weldon; and his close friend Andy Martin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531).
An open memorial has been established to the family.
