He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Parker and Margret "Peggy" McLaughlin. He is survived by: his former wife Janice Fredrick; his children, Michael, James and Kelly; his wife Vicki; his children, Teresa Poole (Jeremiah), Adison, Alissa and Atlee; his son-in-law Bret Hoy; and his children, Everett, Newt and Charlotte.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given in George's memory to his family.
