With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Kleppe of Lost Nation, Iowa, born in West Union, Iowa, who passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennis Kleppe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Kleppe and Inez Kleppe (Hanson); his daughter-in-law Karen Kleppe; his nephew Michael Kleppe; his parents-in-law, John and Florence Martens; his brother Harlan; and his sister-in-law Marlene Nesvik.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Kleppe (Martens); his children, Gale Kleppe of Anamosa, IA, Vicky McNeil (Max) of Preston, IA, Valori Marr of Dubuque and Gary Kleppe (Debbie) of Delmar, IA; and his siblings, Deb Chensvold (Allen), Roger Kleppe (Connie), Jim Kleppe (Patti) and Doug Kleppe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
It is required to utilize face masks and to observe social distancing guidelines during the services.
As Dennis liked to support organizations around Lost Nation, so in lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fire Department, Food Pantry, Booster Club or Lions.
