He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Mount and Martha Mount (Williamson); his stepfather Harold Clarkson; his half-brothers, Fred, Pete and Jack Mount; his sister Carolyn Mount; and his half-sister Margaret Haman.

He is survived by: his wife Dottie Jo Mount of Lorimor; his children, Judy Welcher (Dan) of Lorimor, Robin Hill (Chuck) of Winterset and Steve Mount (Kellie) of Winterset; his siblings, Robert Mount (Marjorie) of Ottumwa and Martha Ann Vandenbusch (Mike) of Huntingbeach, CA; his grandchildren, Nicki Welcher, Anna Welcher, Chad Hill (Casey), Chelsea Strong (Joe), Ashton McKeever (Justin), Briley Mount and Carsyn Mount; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Eli Hill and Etta McKeever.

Face masks are required and social distancing is encouraged.

Memorials may be directed to his family for a future designation.
