She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Fremont Young and Bernice Irene Young (Kirkland); her husband Lee Junior Wheeler; her siblings, Dale, Phil Young and Lois Young; and her grandson Bryan Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Wheeler (Jill) of Ankeny, Keith Wheeler (Julie) of Winterset, Troy Wheeler (Jenny) of Lorimor and Debbie Gripp (Rick) of Creston; her granddaughter-in-law Theresa Wheeler of Ankeny; her sister Myrtle Bailey of Altoona; and her brother-in-law Bruce Rowe of Glendale, Ariz.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be determined later.
