He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Claeys and Agnes Claeys (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Stephannie Roseland; his children, Christina (Anthony) of Davenport, Jeffrey (Kimberly) of Shawnee and Matthew (Valerie) of Goose Creek; his grandchildren, Drake, Kinzie (Aaron), Kally (Hunter), Chance (Brittney), Nathaen and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Leilah, Lily and Reed; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Claeys and Margaret Claeys. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schultz Funeral Homes (722 8th St, DeWitt, IA 52742). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (202 S 1st St, Long Grove, IA 52756).
