She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kaffenberger and Hazel Kaffenberger (Chaon); and her brother Wendell Kaffenberger. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Torres; her children, Lisa Hargrove (Dwight), Ted Jacobs (Karina) and Mary Fjelstad (Bryon); her siblings, Jane Schwartzhoff (Jan), Susan Heithoff (Lynn) and Ernest Kaffenberger (Lou Ann); and her grandchildren, T. J. Woods (Brittani), Brett Woods (Jade), Desirae Ducksworth, Gabriel Jacobs and Bella Mia Jacobs.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
