It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Burmeister (Long Grove, Iowa), born in Dewitt, Iowa, who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gluesing and Philomena Gluesing (Noel); her husband Robert Burmeister; and her siblings, Joe (Bob Hines), Mary T. Cronketon, Rita Mae Wiese and Phyllis Verhulst (Carole Gronewold).
She is survived by: her children, Paulette Meyer (Jamie Siefers), Christine Beam, Veronica Winchester (Mike), Kimberly Munford (Tony Pohren), Jennifer Hall (Donnell) and Lexington Park, MD; and her stepson Corey Burmeister (Mary). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings.
Memorials may be made to St. Ann's Church.
