He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Stewart and Elizabeth Stewart (Andrews); and his siblings, Ethel Stock, Kenneth, Leroy, Walter, Ronald and Dennis Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Janice E. Jones of Long Grove; his grandson Ben "Shadow"; his children, Kathy Schulz (Jeff) of Long Grove, Tom Stewart of Davenport, Don Stewart Jr. of Davenport and Danny Stewart (Kelley) of New Liberty, Iowa; his siblings, Neva Aldene, Mary Crafton, Betty Kadlec, Nancy Thornton, Julie Campbell, Glen Stewart, Bobby Stewart and Larry Stewart; his grandchildren, Anna, Ally, Lily, Laynee, Daniel Jr., Genevieve, Stephanie and Adam; and his great grandchild Edward.
Those attending are asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Davenport Izaak Walton League, or to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
