He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Engler and Edna Engler (Wulf); his sister Beverly Smith (James); and his brother-in-law Leonard John. He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Engler and Daron Engler; his grandchildren, Devin, Trever Gheer, Izabella Hollingsworth and Kynzlee Schwerdtfeger; and his siblings, Darlene John, Eldridge, Diane Wulf (Gary) and William Engler (Kim) of Princeton, IA.
