Shirley Jean Buline Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 98, Shirley Jean Buline of Lone Tree, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Jean Buline to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Hills and Dorothy Hills (Fountain); her husband Archie Buline; her daughters, Sandy Thomas and Kathy Buline; and her granddaughters, Lynnel Thomas and Melinda Tripses.
She is survived by: her children, Patty DeGood (Ken) of Iowa City and Lyle Buline (Linda) of Lone Tree; her son-in-law Darryl Thomas of Riverside; her grandchildren, Todd Thomas (Missy), Wynnette Slaymaker (Tony), Shawn DeGood (Kim) and Matt DeGood (Christa); and her sister Donna Trent of North Liberty. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services (100 Devoe St, Lone Tree, IA 52755). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Hospice of Washington County.
