With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy McKean of Lone Tree, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nancy left this world on March 22, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Whetstine and Rebecca Whetstine (Reid); her children, Douglas Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor; and her husbands, Pat Taylor and Carl McKean.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nicole Moran of Penfield, Cody Taylor of Muscatine, Neil Taylor of South Elgin, Megan Cadogan (Jason) of Covington and Ryan Walker (Kara Mittman) of Wilton, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Laura Taylor of Muscatine, Iowa; her stepchildren, Wendy Moreland (Bill), Crystal O'Toole, Lance McKean (Melissa), Kelly Good (Mike) and Sara Kinion (Rob); and also Judi Whetstine (Bob Rush) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.. She is also survived by eighteen step-grandchildren; twenty three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bentley Funeral Home - Wilton (302 W 5th St, Wilton, IA 52778). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children in her memory.
