She is survived by: her son Paul Waldschmidt (Diane) of Kalona; her grandsons, Ryan Waldschmidt (Shelby) and Dan Waldschmidt (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Everly, Leo and Louis; her brothers, Francis Gase of Des Moines and Joe Gase (Marge) of Cedar Rapids; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Shalla of Kalona.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Mary's Organ Restoration.
