It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Laverne Barton (Lone Tree, Iowa), who passed away on February 27, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Barton and Anne Barton (DeJong). He is survived by: his wife Linda Barton of Lone Tree; his children, Don Colton of Myrtle Beach, Vicki Colton of Lone Tree and Micheal Murtagh (Michael) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Rachael, Konor and Klancee; his sisters, Linda Banken of Lone Tree, Kathy Abrams (Doyle) of Rose Hill and Peggy Mason (Bruce) of Minnetonka; and his brother-in-law Bill Johnson (Vickie) of Burlington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
