He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lenz and Dorothy Lenz (Krueger). He is survived by: his wife Nancy of Lone Tree; his brothers, Dale Lenz (Audrey) of West Liberty and Delbert Lenz (Betty) of Lone Tree; his parents-in-law, William and Arlene Hotz of Iowa City; his sister Janet Luedtke (Dave) of Lone Tree; and his pets, Brinks, Sampson and Priscilla. He is also survived by niece, many nephews, great nieces and nephews; cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Daryl.
