He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gary, Marla Slaughter and Harry Lauber. He is survived by: his parents, Randy Slaughter and Jananne Slaughter (Lauber) of Lone Tree; his siblings, Eric Slaughter (Lacy Stover) of Lone Tree and Emma Slaughter of Lone Tree; and his grandmother Fleeta Lauber of Winfield.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Aaron.
