He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Hurlburt (Rath) and Ralph Hurlburt. He is survived by: his children, Randy (Corinne) of Fenton, David Lone Rock (Linda), Audrey Thomas (Tony) of Bloomington, MN and Penny Rahm (Nick) of Lone Rock; and his sister Rachael (Keith) Nilsen. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fenton American Legion. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the United Methodist Church - Fenton (319 Maple St, Fenton, IA 50539).
