He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Kadow and Fern E. Kadow (Macy); his wife Linda Ann Leason; his brother Tom Kadow; his siblings-in-law, Harold Garrison, Linus Kroll and Mary Carol Fraiser (Carrol "Short"); and his nephews, Dale and Doug Fraiser.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Kadow of Lone Rock, Julie Kadow of Columbia, MO and Susan Hanlin (Don) of Arizona City, AZ; his grandchildren, Hannah Buffington (Nick Thul) of Spirit Lake, Jamie Harper of Farmington, MN, Christopher Hanlin of Des Moines and Sara Majava (Tiffany) of Des Moines; his great grandchildren, Gavin O'Neal, Steven, Jack Harper, Hannah, Eric Hanlin, Riley Love, Kinlee, Maverick Buffington and Cannon Thul; and his siblings, Charlotte Garrison of Mokane, MO, Dorothy Kroll of Jefferson City, MO, Jim Kadow (Eileen) of Bancroft and Dick Kadow (Lucy) of Camas, WA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kossuth County Dementia Care, in memory of John.
