He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Benson and Lorraine Benson (Kincheloe). He is survived by: his wife Janice Benson of Logan, Iowa; his children, Julie (Bill Wegner) of Elkhorn, Philip Benson (Erika) of Logan, Iowa, Beth (Bryce Kelderman) of Tracy and Kathy (Greg Snodgrass) of Logan, Iowa; and his sisters, Lois Mae Collison of Blencoe and Shirley Stadler of Blair. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grand-children.
