She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Birks and Grace Birks (Heady); and her brothers, Edgar Birks and John Birks. She is survived by: her spouse Tom Elkin; and her daughter Eva Elkin of Woodbine, Iowa. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
