In loving memory of Agnes Soetmelk (Logan, Iowa), born in Magnolia, Iowa, who departed this world on December 11, 2024 at the age of 98. Agnes leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Agnes shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Agnes farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Radtke and Frieda Marie Radtke (Hansen); her husband Bill; and her son-in-law Gary Jones. She is survived by: her children, Paulette Jones of Woodbine, Anne (Richard Liddick) of Bellevue, Nebraska and Gary Soetmelk (Kathy) of Avoca, Iowa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (311 E 6th St, Logan, IA 51546).
