It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Carlson of Lockridge, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Ramsey (King); and her grandparents, Rex, Mildred Ramsey, Otto and Helen Keck.
She is survived by: her father Vern Ramsey of Fairfield; her husband Kenny Carlson; her children, Kent Carlson (Becky) of Lockridge, Kimberly Knafla (Jeff) of Des Moines and Dan Carlson of Des Moines; and her siblings, Jim Ramsey (Tony) of Donnellson, Doyle Ramsey (Karen) of Des Moines, Carroll Ramsey (Lori) of Eldridge, Darrell Ramsey of Cody and Grace Kysar (Jerry) of Worland, Wyoming.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
