He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilke Harms and Mattie Harms (Kanengieter); his parents-in-law, Ben and Lois Odens; his son Chad Harms; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Odens and Ronald Venenga.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Odens; his children, Rochelle Van Tilburg (Curt) of Sibley, IA, LaRae Elliott (Robert) of Sioux Falls, SD, Terry Harms (Lisa) of Little Rock, IA and Natalie Harms of Sioux Falls, SD; his friend Shayne Mayer of Rock Rapids, IA; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Venenga and Joleen Odens; his sister Kathy; and his brother-in-law Mark Perkins.
