She was predeceased by: her parents, Stienus Tirrel and Martha Tirrel (Kruger); her husband Denton Peters; her granddaughter Joni Harms; and her siblings, Jim, Glen, David Tirrel, Marj Prunty and Frances Kracke.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Kanengieter (Denny) of Astoria, SD, Sandra Hill (John) of Branson, MO, Dennis Peters (Sherree) of Lake Park, IA and Todd Peters (Barb) of Sergeant Bluff, IA; her siblings, Dorothy Sletten, Stanley Tirrel (Janice), John Tirrel (Genie) and Bob Tirrel (Sheri); and her sister-in-law Leona Gustafson. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
