He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeroy Gross and Delores Gross (Hayenga); and his siblings, Merlin Gross and Kathy Gross-Edelman. He is survived by: his brother Mark Gross (Rebecca Whitacre) of Little Rock, IA; his nieces and nephews, Taylor Gross, Kara Whitacre, Jennifer Gerdes (Brian), Barry Gross (Ami), Andrew Gross and Billy Gross (Tori); and his brother-in-law Brian Edelman of Sioux Falls, SD.
He was a member of the churches Congregational Care Team and during COVID he took it upon himself to read scripture every day through social media to his fellow parishioners.
