She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Frederick Schaa; her son Frederick Schaa; her daughter-in-law Mary Schaa (Snuttjer); her granddaughter Valerie Dawn Freese; her parents, Ed Ackerman and Tana Ackerman; and her siblings, Harvey, Marlyn Ackerman, Verna Bruns (Ackerman) and Nellie Bruns (Ackerman).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Freese (Vernon) of Worthington and Gloria Terhark (Orvis) of Blue Earth; her grandchildren, Lisa Burnham (Glenn), Lori Schutte (Jim), Kathy Oberloh (Dean), Jodi Olson (Jim), Shane Freese (Jennifer), Tyson Terhark (Kelly) and Marnie Norman (Rob); and her sister-in-law Berdeen Ackerman. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
