She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Petermeier and Marjorie Petermeier (Zimmer); her husband Jerry Sanderson; and her daughter Leah Cornelius. She is survived by: her son Neal Hurlbutt; her stepchildren, Tammy Creveling (Brian), Dru Sanderson (Laura) and Aaron Sanderson (Elizabeth); and her grandson Douglas Cornelius. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
