She is survived by: her children, Mark Zimmerman of Urbandale and Cindy Gay (Edwin) of Marshalltown; her son-in-law Nate Wolfe of Urbandale; her grandchildren, Shem Barger, Vanessa Hageman, Nick Barger, Luke Barger and Aaron Gay; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Kaylee, Isabella, Bond, Bentley and Weston; her great great grandchild Ali; her sisters, Arlene Nehring (Don) and Helen Tysma; her siblings-in-law, Donovan "Donny" Zimmerman of Stratford, WI, Sonny Zimmerman (Bonita) of Sedalia, MO and Marian McKee (Bob) of Croton; and her husband Duane. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
