Roger Teeling Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Teeling (Lisbon, Iowa), born in Sumner, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Brad Niewoehner; and his niece Tori Jo Teeling. He is survived by: his parents, Les Teeling and Joyce Teeling; his wife Soraya; his daughters, Brynn and Elena; his siblings, Bruce Teeling (Elva Walker), Greg Teeling (Annette), Dave Teeling (Margaret), Nancy Pierson (Jerry Kluthe), Kim Nolte (Rex) and Patty Mechtel (Paul); his parents-in-law, Freddie and Irma Vazquez; and his siblings-in-law, Freddie Vazquez (Jodi) and Irma Howley (Geoff). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings because of the Covid-19 pandemic, private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Roger's name will be set up with funds directed to the causes he was most passionate about.
