He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cregar and Elaine Cregar (Biskup); and his daughter Heidi Alvis. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Cregar; his daughters, Mercedes Cregar (Dan Godsil) and Genevieve Flanagan (Michael); his grandchildren, Tristen Alvis, Jenna Alvis, Danny Godsil, Richard "Bode" Alvis Benjamin Flanagan and William Flanagan; his siblings, William Cregar and Elyse Cregar; and his sister-in-law Patricia Cregar.
