She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bowers and Anna Bowers (Nass); her husband Howard Ciha; and her siblings, Marjorie Bowers, Paul, Dean, Russel and Claire Bowers.
She is survived by: her brother Ralph Bowers (Winona) of Martelle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will take place at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, 715 10th Avenue SW, Mount Vernon, Iowa, with visitation 9-11 a. m. All guests are respectfully expected to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
