He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kumley and Nina Kumley; his sister Judy Kumley; and his daughter Rebecca Kumley. He is survived by: the mother of his children Audrey Savage of Monticello; his children, Daniel Kumley (Danielle) of Mt. Vernon, Matthew Kumley of Monticello and Sarah Jones (Bill) of Dyer, IN; his grandsons, Mason Kumley and Henry Jones; and his sisters, Donis Hatcher of Durango, CO and Jean Billings of Waterford, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
