He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Jeffers and Ruth Dodge; his wife Genevieve Luedke; his daughter Vickie; and his brother Gordon Jeffers.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Risse (Mark) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Andrew Gregg (Malynda), Timothy Gregg (Iris), Kirsten Mensch (Rusty), Daniel Risse (Michelle), Michael Risse (Jacquelyn) and Alaina Risse (Jordan Hicks). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (5338 Johnson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
