He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Knutson and Mabel Knutson (Sanderson); and his siblings, Clifford, Raymond, Mildred Finnestad and Erma Hickey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Mattson (Tom) of Lisbon and Debra Franke (Mark) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Andy Mattson (Sarah), Virginia "Ginny" Olmstead (Eric), Bethany Banks (David) and Benjamin "BJ" Franke (Laura); his great grandchildren, Bennett Paulsen, Chase, Declan Olmstead, Georgia, Caroline and Samuel Banks; and his wife Dorothy Risetter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lisbon United Methodist Church organ fund or the Lisbon/Mount Vernon Ambulance Fund.
