It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aryl Whitlatch (Lisbon, Iowa), born in Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Caryl B. Whitlatch and Ima C. Whitlatch (Fluke); and his siblings, Betty Jacobs and Leland Whitlatch. He is survived by: his former wife Anna Arnts; his wife Joyce Fisk; his children, Tom Whitlatch (Julie) of Cedar Rapids, Kathy Wyatt (Mike) of Norfork, Angela Eberly (Larry) of Nashville, Christopher Whitlatch (Tammy Bevins) of Marion, Tony Whitlatch (Sandi Ahomana) of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Vaughan (James) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Tina, Jessica, Casey, Jared Justin and Amber; his brothers, Loran Whitlatch (Sharon) of Chariton and R. Kenneth Whitlatch (Dawna DeRosa) of Pennsylvania; his stepdaughters, Donna Sauer (Russ), Sheryl Fisk-Meagher (Kevin) and Kim Pasker; and his stepgrandchildren, Karin, Brandon, Calisse and Adam. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will private for the family at 1 p. m. on Friday, April 24, 2020.
