He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Nielsen and Eleanor Nielsen (Reed); his godmother Marge Nielsen; and his sister-in-law Joy Nielsen. He is survived by: his children, Dana Nielsen-Huberg (Beau) of Marion and Zachary Nielsen (Sara) of St. Charles, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hudson, Greta Huberg, Theodore, Anders and Soren Nielsen; his brothers, Rick Nielsen and John Nielsen; his niece Jodi Nielsen; and his former wife Cheryl Barglof. He is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
