He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Curtis Gould and Luna B. Gould (Sonner); and his former wife Naomi Gould. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Bailey; his children, Mike Gould (Amy) of Phoenix, Wendi Ward (Dan) of Bettendorf and Andrea Gould of Lineville, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Nicole Gillard (Colin), Chelsea Starn (Cody), Justin Holcomb (Sheila), Harry Ward (Kristy), Lisa Sonntag, Matt Ward (Mary), Samantha Heckel, Marcus Schultheis and Naomi Ginia Nares. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). The military honors was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Prairie View Cemetery (3233 Yates Ave, Gilman, IA 50106).
