She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Herschel and Hazel Helen Bancroft (Tallman); her husband Nyle Lee Wasson; her children, Ron, Lester, Connie, Patricia and Roger; and her great grandchild Ethan Davies.
She is survived by: her children, Don Wasson (Elaine Sue) of Ottumwa, Vicki Keast (Dickson) of Urbandale, Pam Hotle (Tom) of Chippewa Falls, WI, John Wasson (Cheryl) of Linden and Kathy Sedrel (Tim) of Grimes; and her sister Marlene Bancroft of Altoona. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to the Linden United Methodist Church or the Friends of the Linden Public Library Foundation.
