She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Bixby and Earl Brooks. She is survived by: her siblings, Frank Brooks of Oxford, Iowa and Judy Bixby of Belle Plaine, Iowa; and her children, Travis Carruthers (Rene) of Grinnell, Iowa, Eric Kinzenbaw (Sandy) of St. Joseph, Missouri, Tom Carruthers of St. James and Lanna West of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
