He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harold Marks and Grace Pegler Marks; his parents-in-law, Ralph Stahlhut and Mildred Nelson Stahlhut; his brother Bob Marks; and his grandson Cullen Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Stahlhut Marks of Nebraska City; his children, Mindy Marks Bowman, David Marks (Windy) and Bill Marks (Tanya); his sister Jane Cannaday (Roy); his sister-in-law Gena Speckmann Marks; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna Bowman, Cade, Bailey, Casey Marks and Eric Higgins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
