She was predeceased by: her father Ernie Kloppenborg; her husband Fred Barker; her brothers-in-law, Joe Wedige and Tim Ruge; and her nephews, Mike West and Ronnie Bomer.
She is survived by: her mother Helen Kloppenborg (Burival) of O'Neill; her daughters, Tricia Simonsen (Todd) of York, NE and Christina Barker (Charles Boyd) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Ashley Verhage (Kurstan) of York and Avery Elan F Boyd; her great grandchild Maverick Verhage; and her siblings, Jim Kloppenborg (Sue) of Emmet, NE, Jerry Kloppenborg of O'Neill, NE, Jeff Kloppenborg (Michelle Riha) of Elizabeth, CO, Janice Peregoy (John) of Coleridge, NE, Joyce Miller (Todd) of Emmet, NE, Jill Fox (Kent) of Stuart, NE, Julie Joyce of Wausau, NE and Jean Ruge of Plainview, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
