He was predeceased by: his parents, John August and Wilma Mary Welter (Yost); and his wife Carletta Mae Noah. He is survived by: his children, Candy Gray (Robert) of Nebraska City, NE, Carlene Dean of Lincoln, NE and Jim Welter, Jr. (Julie Welter) of Nebr. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; other family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Nebr.
