He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Gilson and Rosetta Gilson (Stinson); his wife Avis; and his daughter Janet Chudy (Chris) of Plattsmouth. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Lana) of Nebraska City and Michele Bero (John) of Jacksonville; and his brother Kenneth (Jan) of Lincoln. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
