She was predeceased by: her parents, James McLaughlin and Edith McLaughlin (Brookhart); her husband Gary Schnedler; her brother James McLaughlin; and her son Brian Schnedler.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Schnedler (Susan) of Letts, Tom Schnedler (Melissa) of Fruitland, Jeff Schnedler (Sharon) of Muscatine and Tammy Holderness (Dean) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Cody, Brodie, Boone Schnedler, Tyler Carson, Jennifer Eagle, Kelly Jeambey and Madilyn Eichelberger; her great grandchildren, Brock, Brynn Jeambey, Margaret Eagle and Milo Carson; and her sister Pat Jones (Jack).
