She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Herman and Joanne Katherine Ziebarth Siefers; her sister Joni Morgan; her brothers-in-law, Bill Moore and Rudy Hirt; and her parents-in-law, Steven Scherer and Gabriella Scherer.
She is survived by: her husband Kurt Hirt of Letts; her children, Jennifer Poggemiller (Jeremy Colschen) of Muscatine and Joe Hirt (Rosie) of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Tysin Marie Walker (Zach), Derek Hirt (Madison), Lexi Hirt (Raul), Luke Luu, Cambal Luu and Rhys Luu; her great grandchildren, Hailey Walker, Elanea Walker and Jaxon Hirt; her siblings, Kathy Moore, Loretta Elliott, Gary Siefers (Cheryl), Daryl Siefers (Lanett), David Siefers (Jill) and Chris Siefers (Lynn); her close friend Lori Graham; and her pet Sassy.
