With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy May SyWassink of Letts, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zimmermann and Martha Faye Zimmermann (Lloyd); her husband Donald SyWassink; and her brother George Zimmerman, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Marian Vavra (Bill) of Wichita, KS, Joan Muhs (Allen), Bob SyWassink (Diane) of Letts, IA, Anne Haussmann (Craig) of Oak Grove, MO, Janice Jensen (Neil) of Comstock, WI, Janell Seubert (Jim) of Columbia Heights, MN and Steven of Letts, IA; and her sisters, Martha Novak of Wisconsin, Rose Mary Muller (Dean) of Wisconsin and Sarah Howard (John) of Minnesota. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established.
